What does a rainy night on the Brooklyn Bridge have in common with time spent on Mt. Hood? Rain! Yes, it’s getting a little old because we are well into winter and have seen little snow.
This weekend has been a fun experiment for me as it’s the first time I have had a large group of my friends join me at the cabin. While I was hoping for snow, instead we got massive rain and wind which took out the power at the cabin for over 12 hours. For most of the day we hung out by candlelight. We did have heat as the propane stove is not impacted by electricity, and water was fine. Besides, we are men, and hanging out without power is a manly man thing to do!
