The quote above is from a recent article, Mothers reveal all: The secrets to raising a successful child, and speaks volumes about the fine line we parents play in nurturing our children’s natural talents while not going crazy in the process. We know we make many mistakes as parents. Being able to openly share them with other parents and learn we are not alone in our struggles seems to make things so much better. I think part of the challenge today is knowing where to draw the limits on technology, screen time, over-scheduling of activities, and pushing our kids on school to ensure they get to college. Being able to process these things with other parents sure makes finding the line easier. It really does take a community to raise children!
