Yes I know, it’s actually the eyes have it, but I wanted to honor these cute little fishes who in some strange way remind me of those who work so hard for us in Washington. Glad we are back online!
Other than being so colorful for the camera, you probably know by now that we should all be getting our fair share of omega-3 fatty acids. They are essential for good health, reducing blood pressure, lowering triglycerides, and having all sorts of other benefits. While supplements are one way to get our daily supply, we prefer eating fish at least once a week, even if it’s a struggle to get our son to eat it.
I also have some incredible news to share. If you are a photographer you may already have heard this, but if not, here goes. Sony just announced that within a month they will be selling the camera of my dreams (and maybe yours)! It is the Sony 36.3 MP a7R and it will be the world’s lightest interchangeable lens full-frame digital camera. Packed with 36.4MP of resolution, complete weather-sealed body and lenses, wi-fi and a blazing fast intelligent AF system, it will no doubt be a game changer in the industry. And yes, it does come at a price. The camera body alone is nearly $2,300. Will I be getting one soon? Probably not. I know in a short time the price will come down a lot, they will release a more fine-tuned version after receiving feedback from early adopters, and for now I am still in love with my Pentax K5-II. But if Santa delivered one Christmas morning, I would not be upset.
